Faye Brother
lol! I always get this response whenever I mention my perception of speed between the two cars. Bearing in mind mine is completely standard performance wise , the TT just doesn't *feel* as fast as the Subaru. I know it's faster, you know it's faster, everyone knows it's faster - but it sure as heck doesn't *feel* like it.

Guest 4StringMike
Welcome to the site, Mike. Both have their good and bad points. My WRX Wagon is perfect for the daily commute and general work use, but it does become rather tiring on motorway runs. On the other hand, my TT is wholly unsuitable for work use, but it's an absolute joy on motorways, long runs (apart from the less supportive seats) and on sunny days when I get the roof off as well. I like your style! One of each eh? Its funny, when I drove the Supra I thought yeah this is a fair bit quicker than the Scoob. It was only driving back home in the Scooby that I realised just how much quicker the Supra was, or rather how slow the Scooby was by comparison. Its true, Supra's seem to have effortless power, whereas Scoobys need to be worked harder.
Guest 4StringMike
Ok I have another question. How does a loud exhaust (decat plus big bb etc) sound on an auto car? I'm trying to imagine how it would sound flat out without the little pauses between gears??
