Just bought this, ready for the pod

Bought this camera mount to get some better footage (more professional looking).

If anyone wants a recorded run of their car using this setup, give me a shout on the day and I'll stick it in. I'll then put the video online at a later date for you to view your amazing/pitiful run :D

Ahh, I'll see how I get on with the setup in the box. Have you tried sticking it to one of the body panels yet?

 

Not yet, I've not been brave enough. I find once mounted its very secure and theres no budging it, but over time it does loose suction and needs to be pumped up again. If your going to film through glass you need to get the camera lens as close to the glass as possible to avoid reflections.

Well, that arrived fast.

 

I just went out to test it, and got it promptly stuck onto the windscreen.......it's still there now, I can't get the bastard off!!

 

Whats the trick to getting the pad off. I've tried lifting the lug thing as per instructions and the Hague website video, but bugger me if I can do it.
