Gambit
A long time ago I had the rear screen removed to fix the common rust patch in the bottom corner, ever since then I get water in the boot from real heavy rain. If I lift the boot after it has rained I can get some water seep out from under the rubber seal, should it not seal better than this? As the screen is bonded in does the screen have to come out to get the rubber seal out, as it's only cosmetic? How much does it cost to get a screen removed and replaced and is the seal reusable? Cheers, Mark. Edited August 28, 2010 by Gambit (see edit history)

Nic
Members have had similar problems when non Toyota seals were used. To fix it properly I'd have thought it'd need to be completely removed and resealed.
Gambit
It was a proper seal, I bought it myself from Mr. T. The question is, can the seal be removed without taking the screen out and if I take the screen out can I reuse the seal?
