SupraDan24
Hi guys, i've been looking for a new Supra for a while now, i put my Evo up for sale last month so to give me extra funds so i can afford a Manual. There's 2 i'm looking at, one is from a member on here and tbh my preferred choice (he wants cash only) and the second is this one on ebay who has offered my PX with my Evo, effectively killing two birds with one stone. Reason i ask for opinions is i've been looking for a while now and fear im starting to get "desperate" and clouding my own judgement, so a few unbiased opinions wouldnt go a miss. Its a bit "boy racer" for me, but thats just cosmetic and i can change that easily enough. Seems like a decent price for a low mileage BPU manual to me. Anyone with a keener eye than me see any pro's and cons from the spec and whether its worth me going to have a look at it. Its been up for sale for quite some time now btw. Link is below, cheers guys. ps i've never heard of a "overboost of 1.4bar before but i'm assuming it can't be a good thing" http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-TWIN-TURBO-MANUAL-LOW-MILES-BODYKIT-383BHP-/130404239630?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1e5cb2c90e
ellis
1.4 might be considered a touch high, 1.2 is a bit safer. It's not my cup of tea - a bit too "Supra + Glue + Halfords window" for me. Personally, I'd not do it. Which member's car are you looking at?
SupraDan24
"Supra + Glue + Halfords window" for me. My thoughts exactly It's something i could change easily though, i was more interested in the spec. It's Vagnum's car i'm looking at, it was up for sale a while back. Great car but i can't afford it/warrent buying it until i've sold my Evo.
scotty71
The ebay one, I would change the bonnet, skirts, rear spats, rear spoiler, the wheels the interior, the....... oh bloomin ek I just wouldnt buy it. And this GOOD POINTS: The nicest looking supra around. It has been serviced regularly at Toyota and specialist Hyper Sports, very clean, low mileage and very fast. You also feel like a celebrity as you get photographed at lights, shops and garages with camera phones. made me laugh, camera's at the ready As you said mate dont get desperate which IMO you must be to entertain that car for 8k
ellis
Compared to Vagnum's car (which I've just looked at), that thing is quite awful! Be patient - don't knee-jerk buy one and then live to regret it.
