Jamesy
Quick question - on the SSR website (below) they state a colour called "super black coat" - cant quite work it out on the picture but is that colour a polished black kind of look?? looks quite light/gunmetal in the pics.... http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/sp1_17181920.asp
AndrewOW
It looks like a tinted lacquer to me. I like the proper blacks though.
Stonkin
I'd say the super black coat are the ones on the black porsche in the last pic and the best of the bunch imo

Dont like full on black... Heres a couple of pics in super black coat: http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/attachments/chassis-and-wheels/168235-rim-work-euroline-vip-image008-1.jpg http://severracing.com/MR2/Wheels/SSR%20Professor%20SP1/Super%20Black%20Coat.jpg Standard silver: http://www.tntperformance.co.nz/images/-//Tanabe/SSR/SSRSP1.jpg
Stonkin
looks like a black chrome shadow type finish, if that makes sense. Bit like my old sa-70's they can look very dark in some light and reflective chromy in other light
Rob_Mitchell
silver with chrome/polished lip is the ones i would have.

Bit like my old sa-70's they can look very dark in some light and reflective chromy in other light so not a chrome look?? Sounds quite nice, but without being 100% certain im not sure on them..... Maybe silver with polished lip is the safer bet?!
Stonkin
Not a chrome look no, but more a chrome with a dark tint I agree that with spending this kinda money you almost need to see the wheels in person. I was like that with the weds, but there was no way to see them in person at the time. Wasnt disappointed though Got to follow your heart mate.... Jamesy
Yeah true mate. I will do some digging on the colours but at least they'll look good in either!!
Jamesy
The super black coat is an extra $100 PER wheel .... but i think it might be worth it on a silver car ......

AndrewOW
Super black coat for me. They'd be far too shiny for the body colour silver. If it was a black or dark coloured car, then silver would be fine.

Stonkin
I still think they will look better in real life than that last pic mate. The light sources for the wheels and car in each pic are totally different
AndrewOW
I did mean that the normal silver ones would be far too shiny for the car. I know they were the super black coat.

Stonkin
Yep, seen them whilst searching in google for you just now They've got the edge in looks compared to (in my eyes) the plain silver ones. Get the wallet out mate, you can shake my hand and thank me once you've fitted them
AndrewOW
I did a quick super black coat overlay on the spokes of that last pic. They would look great, IMO.
