IanK
Picked it up from Southampton Docks Friday. Got to wait a week now while its converted/MOT/registered etc. Drives great! (and yes i will be removing the stickers) Just need to decide where to put the front number plate. i was thinking of putting a stick on plate at the botom as i want to put the toyota badge back on the bumper. (i also need to put some mesh in to protect that huge intercooler) Any sugestions on the legalities & placement on the frot plate? cheers Ian http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/front1.jpg http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/front2.jpg http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/rear.jpg http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/wheel.jpg http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/engine.jpg http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/interior.jpg http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/interior2.jpg
Matt T
Could always put a square one where the plate went before to the side? Or put one flat in the intake bit, doubt thats entirely legal tho
John_M
Square one where the bolt holes are looks the obvious choice. Lovely looking motor by the way. Pete
I'd watch those air filters mate - that orange one looks like it has a big gap where it's being bypassed

Gaz Walker
Thats an interesting air intake setup - filter for each turbo... Nice car BTW.
IanK
Thats an interesting air intake setup - filter for each turbo... Nice car BTW. Yea strange setup isn't it! not quite sure what the previous owner thought it would achieve? i will probably be converting back to a standard airbox setup soon but need to find a taker for this setup and also source an original setup to replace it with. The pipe work is all ARC & GReddy btw.
MichaelG
I would put the number plate where it has been already........was probably there for a very good reason
SupraLuigi
Very nice supe. Sorry - Don't want to hijack the thread but does anyone know where I can get a set of the centre caps for the those VR wheels (same as mine)?
Nic
Good to see it's finally arrived Ian I really like the Zeek front bumper very mean looking, I'd either mount the number plate to one side as suggested or fit a slightly smaller one as in this photo. Not sure the Veilside side skirts suit the front bumper, think it woudl look even better with a side skirt that has a straight bottom edge to match the straight angular nose, something like the Top Secret skirts on my car (see link below) or the OEM ones in the photo
Nic
Also a pair of facelift clear indicators that follow the curve of the bumper would look great.
Nic
Just noticed it's got the same ARC IC pipe fitted as I have for sale [thread=39687]HERE[/thread] different BOV though. Someone was asking me what it looked like fitted so thanks for the photo Sorry shameles plug over....
IanK
Thanks all for your comments. Nic, yes i agree it would certainly look better with clear indicators, they are on my very long shopping list. Also agree with what you say about the sideskirts although the veilsides do look quite good on it in the flesh. One thing to take off my shopping list is a set of HID's as i just found out it already has them fitted! I was very impressed with the feel of the car on the HKS suspension too, much better than the standard setup.
Nic
I was very impressed with the feel of the car on the HKS suspension too, much better than the standard setup. Ooo... can I do another shameless plug, a set for sale cheap [thread=39863]HERE[/thread] Good news about the HID kit spend the money on a set of UK spec front brakes instead, there is a group buy on at the moment [thread=39541]HERE[/thread], just need 2 more to make up numbers. I better shut up now before I get in trouble
IanK
hmmm, the brakes are very tempting. Does anyone know if the VR wheels would fit over them though?
green_dragon
Nice car mate, love that bumper What is that aerial thingy on the rear window? Remote start or something?? I'd put the plate where it was before too, or you'll have the old holes to fill won't you? Just my opinion of course.
how_supra
Hey, just read your post on the FTO forum!!! FTO to supra seems likes a natural progression. I don't blame you. A great looking car. You should come along to the next Londoners Meet.
IanK
the aerials are sony TV aerials. Ill be taking them off as the unit isn't fitted in the car & it wouldn't have worked anyway. Supra did seem to be the best option after the FTO, couldn't live the looks of an EVO Should be able to make the next London meet, let me know when. SimonB
Go for a stick on plate, like so:-
IanK
Think i might get a square plate & stick on and try all options suggested to see what i like best. I think Ill put a chrome toyota logo on the bumper where it belongs too. Anyone know where i can get an original or good copy Toyota badge via mail order or will i have to go to MR T?
