Kazuma
Hi all, got a question for you all and hopefully someone will be able to help.. I am currently driving a 2.0L Citroen Picasso and this isn't imported, so hense why I am going to ask the following question. I've found a Supra for sale, it was a jap import, registered in the UK Aug 2004. When getting insurance quotes, do I have to specify that it was a jap import or do I say no because it's now registered in the UK?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks David. Vicky
You would have to tell your insurance company that it was an import if they ask.

Abz
Yep, we are a very active forum! As above, you would have to advise them it is an import.

neo2810
Sky and A-Plan insurance have both come up cheaper than my current insurer. Try them after comparing the market.com
Kazuma
Yeah Admiral came out the cheapest, searched via Compare the market. A-Plan and Adrian Flux were over £200 more! I went direct to those insurers. Yes, I do like active forums :-)

monsween
I think I'll go get a quote from Sky because you rate it! I'll post what I find and how it rates to Admiral If you stump up a tenner for membership here and tell sky your a member you'll get a discount on your insurance. You can bet its more than a tenner saving too Mention your part of an owners club to some insurers makes it a little cheaper

Attero
If you like to modify your car, steer clear of Admiral (apparently).

kazama76
If you like to modify your car, steer clear of Admiral (apparently). They were ok about my mods (bodykit, wheels and exhaust). they just quoted me higher for wanting to put a tracker on it (almost £200 more). & quoted me cheaper for a TT than a NA
