jackso11
Thanks simon, got it done in the end. One I worked out where the nuts where it was pretty easy. Quick question for all of you in the know. The fluids section says 9L coolant for a full change. I drained everything, had the bottom rad hose offand hoses off the engine top and bottom, but only managed to get between 5L and 6L back in there. Had the engine running and rad cap off, no more bubbles. Been for a run, let it cool, rad cap off and topped up a tiny bit but I still reckon its only about 6L in there. Is there something I am not doing?
Homer
The system retains a huge abount of fluid even when the engine is (apparently) drained, I've done drains/refills on a dozen times on both my Supra's and even though they need 9L to fill from dry you'll only ever need 5-7L unless the entire engine and heater matrix are removed. jackso11
Thats good to know. At least now I can stop checking the rad cap everytime I go past to see if the level has dropped! haha
