Just saw a 60-odd year old man driving a 2004 orange Lambo in Dublin.

Looks so wrong to me. What a waste of a car!

Why don't they just stick to their E-Class' or S-Type's?!

Hahahah if I was 60, I wouldn't drive that!

But an orange Lambo...why?!:search:

He was!!

Just looks silly IMO.

Pork scratchings and a pint of Cider.

Nothing better than a pint in Shearer's Bar in Newcastle on match-day.

Not at all, actually. Whatever about an orange FATF Supra, but not an orange Lambo. Either black or red.

I don't mind people who are 30+ in a Supra as it doesn't look wrong, but in an orange Lambo... in Dublin.... in the pouring rain..... with a 60-odd year old bald owner = laughable.

I said it doesn't look wrong in a Supra as they are a car suitable for all ages in my opinion.

I know a few Supra owners who are in the 40's in Ireland and there is nothing wrong with that whatsoever - they know more about Supra's than I will ever know. That's not what I have a problem with JamieP; it's when people close to 70 years of age are driving around Dublin (of all places) in a candy orange Lambo, it just looks silly.

(I am in my mid twenties).

Not digging - telling it like it is notwithstanding members' views.

They give the people something to read. Otherwise, the Forum would be dormant.

They aren't pointless anyway I don't think.

Everyone's entitled to one Supra-T!

It would make a slight difference, but still not enough to justify him driving that car in public.

A 60 year old on that motorbike is also wrong.

:ban:

Nothing particularly to do with this thread as I don't consider myself old nor do I consider the supra a sports car. To be honest I could have quoted any posts from any thread. Just thought it needed to be said.:D

Does it really matter what age the person is, as long as a) they are capable of driving and b) enjoy it....

Nos, you are aware that CW is an 'older' gentleman and would probably out drive every which way of sunday going? There are plenty of older members as well who would probably take offence to a 'young' kid like yourself want to build a silly TV car....

Lets be honest, if I had an orange lambo, I'd potter around at 30mph JUST so everyone saw :)

People on this Forum have often stated the fact that they find owners of certain cars as, inter alia, "stupid, chavs" etc.

Am I not entitled to voice my opinion regarding someone I saw driving a certain car?

Surely there is nothing sinister in that - come on. It's just an opinion. As once told to me, the Forum is full of diverse members with differing views/opinions...

P.S. I have no idea who Chris Wilson is.

A ban for a thread stating an honest opinion? No need to be so sensitive. It's not intended to provoke.

Come on!:looney:

You will soon learn there is members here of all ages, slagging off 60 year old people who obviously have done well in life to afford a Lambo is just childish. You claim to be mid twenties, but you act VERY immature and don't contribute much to the forum apart from rubbing 99.9% of the members the wrong way. Look at yourself for a moment, living in a fantacy F&F world, how is that better NOS? If I was you I'd keep my trap shut and fingers away from the key board.

Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, no one is suggesting you aren't. But not all opinions should be voiced on a public forum. I'd like to think you have the savvy to understand which opinions may cause discord. Not only that, certain opinions can make you look like a fool.
