Septic
Ah yeah Totems. Thanks I'm off to make my own Totem to check that I'm not having a bad dream, aged 25 with no Supra. At the moment it looks like I might not be awake after all seeing as how the Supra is always my dream car

SupraP-Z
I think this film has been WAYYYYYYY over-analised (spelling mistake intended), dont get me wrong, me and the other half thought it was brilliant, breath of fresh air...until some w@nker next to me pulled out his phone and was chatting pretty much throughout the whole blooming thing! Its just a film...and a good one at that, lets not ruin it!

Scott
The pictoral is wrong. The architect always dreams the levels.... Anyway. Seen this with my Wife last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't find it in the slightest bit hard to follow, and my Wife also followed it no problems (that's saying something). If this movie is going over your head you must have the attention span of a child I can see the ties to the Matrix. Great to see the movie standing on its own though, it is not an idea generated from the Matrix, it just has similar looks/feels to it. Maybe the Matrix put ideas into the head of Nolan?

Septic
The pictoral is wrong. The architect always dreams the levels.... Yeah I thought so. That above picture confused me a lot. But hold on; when Di Caprio was running the dream tutorial with the girl, wasn't he dreaming it? The girl, on the fly, was making alterations in the world; folding the dream, the mirrors etc. Surely she was acting as an architect in that dream? Matt H
Inception explained in pictorial form: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=115105&d=1281564734 HTH That diagram is totally wrong. Reality isn't a level for starters. All of the levels are the young girl's as she is the architect. The diagram has just taken the people that were left behind in the first two levels to initiate the kicks.

The dreamer is ALWAYS the person who's dream you wish to invade. In all cases with the finale it was the guys subconscious.... always... hence the henchmen in EVERY level other than the last. The last level isn't dreamed by anyone but any architect/invader can create in it. The architect creates the dream world, she is the one that designs it all even though it isn't hers. Think of it as owning a house, it's yours but someone else designed it The dreams can be manipulated by anyone who knows how to, regardless of who the architect is and regardless of who the dreamer is. Explaining this film in words is so much harder than anything else.

kslb
Loved Inception, I was told before I went to see it that you need to watch it twice as it is very hard to follow however I have come to the conclusion that this advice came from an idiot. All you need to do to fully appreciate this film is watch it without distractions, effects are brilliant and the concept is new and refreshing. James
Yeah I agree Keith, I didn't struggle to follow it at all. Having read up stuff since watching it, I want to see it again to confirm some things though
