NOS
As some of you may know, I am looking for a CF bonnet for my TT. I came across this one for sale from a seller located not too far from me in Ireland. The seller's car is a '95 and mine is '97. Judging from the pictures (attached), I think it looks i good nick, although I do think the fitting could be slightly better. What do you think? Purity14
At the moment i am thinking of choosing between boiled potatos with gammon and veg, or just getting a chicken from asda and having it with some rice. But the bonnet looks nice, dont you want any vents?
NOS
Not bothered about vents. Just want a CF bonnet to compliment the black spoiler on my TT. Thought this might do the trick.

aman00123
Yup chicken and rice is the way forward Bonnet is alright, fitting could be better as you said, but you'll get this with aftermarket parts. Have you tried Knight-Racer? Some nice CF bonnets there
NOS
Got the seller down to £250 for this bonnet - good price, right?
Brazil
Dude I think the carbon bonnet will look crud on your car if not painted, check out themodifiedkid's car below in my opinion his done a great job with the black/white combo. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?u=19934
Neil-NA
Rubbish fit, but i suppose aero catches or bonnet pins would help bring it down a bit.
martini
Does not and will not look good.
NOS
Fit is bad, I agree with you there, but isn't it a good price at £250?
aman00123
£250 for that bonnet aint that great bud, if it was in perfect nick, fitted really well and had a really good weave sure but I wouldn't be spending that much on a bonnet like that mate

JustGav
Fit is bad, I agree with you there, but isn't it a good price at £250? If it is a bad fit, it doesn't matter if it is £10, a bad fit is a bad fit.....
aman00123
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=212332 Even though the lacquer is going on it this is a nice CF bonnet
michael
Get the chicken, maybe add some spicy sauce too.
dr_jekyll
see i would go with the gamon and biold potatoes with a ring of pinaple and some olive oil and whit viager on the potatoes sided by some fresh lettuce. but the chicken and rice also has potential
Josh
If you have a black spoiler won't the cf bonnet look weird? Spray your bonnet black.
aman00123
Hmm can't go wrong with chicken and rice mate, if you want to get a bit adventurous go for jerked chicken I'm hungry now....

SupraStar 3000
I've never been able to get my bonnet to fit perfect. Needed bonnet pins in the corners to really pull it down. Then the areas above the lights just seemed alittle to high but some (much hated and controversial) eyebrows helped
Guest Supra-T
I don't know whether to pick my nose or blow my nose, I'm in a dilemma here guys, somebody is bound to have the answer somewhere here...
Purity14
I went with the chicken and rice after all, thanks for the help guys
aman00123
Pick then blow mate but don't pick and flick - that's just nasty
Kirk
Did you throw on some nandos BBQ sauce? I don't get why you would bother with a poor fitting and crappy replica bonnet which probably weighs more than stock. Here's an option, paint your current bonnet black. Job done! a98pmalcolm
Yer aftermarket body parts never fit 100% but i think Paul Whiffins one will be better, just get it laquired it wont be that much... I have a genuine abflug fibreglass bonnet that retail over £1000 and one side is slightly raised.. If your really worried about fit, get one via night racer and they will fit it till its perfect for around £50 if i remember rightly...
