Anyone know much about 3 piece wheel "DISK" measurements?

Have found a great set of wheels - 3 piece deep dish in 18x9 and 18x11.

Now just as i got my head around the whole width, offset, sizes etc....the 3 peice wheel also have a "disk" measurement - this determins how much brake clearance you have.

The 3 main options are:

Standard Disk (A Disk)

Deep Rim Disk (0 Disk)

Big Caliper Disk (R Disc)

Does anyone know what they mean? im guessing the R disc is the best to clear the UK brakes but the ones ive seen are 0 disk. is the 0 disk the middle ones and A disk the ones that wont clear brakes well?

any advice asap greatly appricated.

What wheels are they?

The disk refers to the shape of the spokes and the dish of the wheel, this varies from wheel to wheel. Most Japanese brands will specify the size, offset and disk to suit the Supra, any decent trader should be able to advise what you need.

0 disk will give you the least clearence for brakes, normally you would have this on the back of the car where brake clearence is not as important but a big dish is.

On the front you would want the R disk ( high Disk) which would give you less of a dish but more clearence for big calipers. :)

I wouldnt, just find some wheels that fit properly. ;) I know its a PITA but the end result will be better. :)
