Guest Supra-T
I cannot believe that you are an authorised trader with a respectable company and you are telling members about an Illegal modification! The frequency maybe free etc, but the police will always nail you with perverting the course, or obstructing justice etc etc For the mods to jam radar they have to be automatically activated when they detect the polices gun, therefore its not a push button garage door opener at all It's an illegal mod, just don't do it. You are correct about him being a trader, but that's about it mate, the rest is bollox because the device in question is 100% legal so stop having a sissy fit and get your act together mate because you will end up getting chopped and screwed on here faster than you can say Bob's your uncle!! I would rather try and defend against a very thin case of perverting the course of justice than try and worm my way out of a ban when they have caught me on an open stretch of road being very naughty. Same here!! No its a parking sensor therfore operates when the ignition is on and car going forwards!!! Also the 'door openers' are wired into the bumper so they open your door/gate as you arrive home, I think Mother Teresa, you will find if you have the electric door/gate fitted you cannot be charged!!! Of course you are right I will stop giving people 600hp as they will use it to break the law, one word C**K!!! mother Teresa you know!! Dude, thanks to Ric, I have seen the light, I'm coming in tomorrow to have my turbo amputated and engine de-tuned, I can't be driving this sort of car anymore!! No I don't think so, the guy selling this is Adam Blair, he advertises on the polices own forum http://www.policeonline.co.uk (gotta just love that) does many diff things to beat speeding charges!! So much in fact that Ric would prob take a contract out on him if he werent so busy being Mother Teresa;) STOP!! My sides are splitting!! Maybe you should stick to giving out info on illegal items rather than personal digs and insults.. Dude. You brought it onto yourself mate If only my name was Richard, Oh, and so sorry for having an opinion against your pal, so sorry, perhaps you should remove your head from his arse. I myself dabble over the set leptonage, but if you do, be prepared to get caught. That's very colourful mate, nice one I would rather get away with it via a small box of trickery myself:D Exactly!! Do Trolls actually rofl, in fact I would love to roll around too, come see me at TOTB;) Game over...
Guest Supra-T
So its 100% legal!!!!! Thank F**k for that I was really worried about what Ric might think, thank god I can carry on trading. I'm so happy for you mate, I know you couldn't live with it if Ric was disappointed with you! Bloody hell, I'm crying from all the laughter!!! Now, time to stop feeding the troll... I do remember a thread going back a few years ago on pistonheads if they get a jam signal they still take a picture to get your plate , the bloke on pistonheads got raided at something like 2am( I dont think they like people trying to avoid the law) broke down the front door wanted access to the car I think it got taken to a police pound where it was ripped to bits to find the device he was done for Perverting the course justice blah blah blah you get the idea. Cant imagine a judge authorising the police to break down your door and storm your house because they couldn't get a £60 fine off you, its not like you've got half a kilo of heroin under your bed. I can believe the old bill knocking on your door with a warrant to search your vehicle though. I'd let them to as when they're finished i'd inspect every last nut and bolt and if ANYTHING wasn't right or put together properly they wouldn't hear the end of it. Too many people are scared of pissing the police off, they play a game of cat and mouse with the public so in my opinion it is only fair that we play the game aswell, and lets be honest the only reason they kick up so much stink about these is because they know they cant do anything about it yet and it pisses them off that joe public is getting away with something:p
SIMON LC
The answer is simple. If you think you've been zapped recently just unplug the main control box and hide it under your bed for a few weeks. If there is no system in working order fitted to the car, there is no case to answer. It works for me.

I know what you mean, it wouldn't be a nice feeling having old bill on your doorstep, but its the lesser of two evils. If we're caught at over a ton thats it, licence gone, and look at how quickly even a stock TT can get over a ton when pulling out to pass an artic. Not pleasant and a big headache dealing with cps and the like but better than losing your licence. I'm planning on ordering one next payday so we'll see.....maybe:taped:
j80leo
I might order one myself, but where do you fit it? Front or rear? Visiable or not visiable?
bigbloodyturbo
I might order one myself, but where do you fit it? Front or rear? Visiable or not visiable? I think you fit the emitter/sensor in the front grill in and around the number plate as thats where they target you. Dont know where the box of tricks goes though, would imagine you could put that anywhere the wires would let you.

bigbloodyturbo
My number plate is on the side? would it still have to be fitted around the number plate? best to email and ask them, i got a reply within 24hours. I know you can buy another head to put on the rear or else to have two up front for not much more money, maybe you could have one on each side of the front bumper where the indicators are. SIMON LC
Well bikes have to park as well you know.If they dont, why do they have special places for them to park in multi storey car parks?
Scott
Well bikes have to park as well you know.If they dont, why do they have special places for them to park in multi storey car parks? Yeah, but you can see the front and rear of a bike quite easily when parking, obviously the front easier than the rear. The whole point of parking sensors is for the bits you can't see.
