boost-fuel when twin/single

How much boost before upgrading fuel system?

Has it any influence on the fuel system that the car is converted to single turbo?

Does it not require the same fuel when boosting with 1 bar if the engine is twin or it is single?

Thanks on advance

If you work on hp levels you won`t go far wrong, you can`t really go on boost pressure once you change the turbos from stock.

A 67mm single @ 1 bar should be around 450 fwhp whereas stock twins maybe 350.

Import 440`s fuel system(upgraded pump) is good for approx 420fwhp,

Uk/euro 550`s fuel system(with standard pump) is good for approx 500 fwhp,

This is without pushing fuel pressures to crazy levels btw

Thanks a lot.

How can I see that my injectors is 550?

btw. It´s a euro spec.

If it's a Euro spec Supra it will have 550cc injectors and higher flow fuel pump.

In terms of how much boost you can run, this will depend on the turbo being used. Whoever is mapping the car will be able to determine the limits of your fuel system.
