Multics
Just changed my spark plugs as I had a misfire on boost. Coilpacks are fine. Plugs are NGK Iridium 7's they've been on for less than 5k miles. The car is mapped at 1.2b running v-power only, except once Tesco99 a few days ago. Has anyone seen plugs like this before? I just read that an additive used in petrol to boost octane rating called MMT can cause this. I've no idea if v-power contains MMT but it would be useful to have an answer from v-power or tesco99 users or anyone else who knows what's going on? All 6 plugs came out the same colour. Multics
Hmm interesting thanks At first I thought it could be coolant as I use red coloured coolant but I don't lose any and even if it was coolant, how can it be on all six spark plugs?
