Been hunting my idling issue for quite some time and changed lot of ignition parts, 02 sensors etc. and now I moved to found out would it be my ICV.

So.. Idle control valve is removed today from my N/A and it looks like following:

Am I crazy or does it look like jammed or something?

Can I remove those 3 screws to look inside without doing any harm?

Thanks forwards for help (once again..)

Have you got a bigger picture?

You can remove those three screws, but be careful, they can round off easily. Give the whole thing a good clean off with some carb cleaner spray.

It might not be jammed, its a stepper motor that screws out that valve part, so its just in that position as that's where it stopped. Try cleaning and refitting first.
