NOS
For all you Computer Boffs out there: This message box (picture below) comes appears on my desktop every time I turn on my PC. Does any one know what this means or what causes it? It's been doing this for months now and it's really starting to get on my nerves! Thanks. Attero
If you've been running an anti-virus and it's vaulted an affected file, it may have been removed from your system. As the forums metalface suggested, trying re-installing your graphics card.

A. Why is it there in the first place?; and B. What in the name of God is a Nvidia Graphics Driver?!

Attero
If you have that file you will have a graphics card installed on your computer. The graphics card will have software for it to run effectively with your machine. You will need to find out what nvidia graphics card you have, and install the drivers/software for it. It's likely something got to that file, such as a virus.
JustGav
It's likely something got to that file, such as a virus. I'd be more inclined to go user error than virus for that As above it is a dll that has been removed/upgraded and needs replacing. Get a snap shot of your device manager screen (somewhere in control panel). This reminds me again why I like linux so much
Ewen
You must have deleted your sqrl. You need the sqrl running for .acorns. You could install weesl instead though. Or even feret. Any Rod .ent applications will fix it, although I prefer sqrls.

stevie_b
Ok - the suggested remedy is stated as being, "Reinstall Nvidia Graphics Driver as nvsvc.dll most likely a part of it and not found." A. Why is it there in the first place?; and B. What in the name of God is a Nvidia Graphics Driver?! A - Because it needs to be there for your computer to display anything beyond really really basic graphics*. See (B). B- a program installed on your computer which enables the core of your computer to talk to your graphics card. Generally, each specific graphics card has its own driver, hence you need to know what graphics card you have in order to install the correct driver. * - unless it's a spoof warning about a virus, which obviously doesn't need to be there.
