Scott
I have read comments in relation to PM's in the past so I'm surprised they cannot be read. Has something changed or was it never the case, and just a passing threat? It wasn't directed at me, to be honest I don't think there is much interesting reading in there anyway, but I certainly took the comment of being "if you are on the radar we will monitor all communications". RedM
Oh yes, we're very relaxed about people's privacy around here. Ain't that the truth.

edge
I used to run several music, radio and dj websites in the past and i used to allow certain mods to view private messages of trouble makers. No way you will know if they use it but at the end of the day its the tinternet and anything is possible. I think its a good plug in aslong as its restricted to very few mods to help out with disputes, rouge traders etc. If you want to keep it private send an email and maybe even encode it. But our mods seem fairly normal people and probably have better things to do like tracking down nizam and his 1 million ip addresses. NIZAM FTW! JustGav
You guys might as well put the tinfoil hats away, we (us yellows) don't have access to them, and it has to be a VERY good reason for a red to look at it (Believe it or not, they have lives and don't just go around reading PMs). I could be mistaken and the reds might not even be able to do that either.
scotty71
I was chatting to a member on another forum yesterday and they made a little remark that made us both stop and think ! Another forum.... lol
Branners
It runs a database at the back end, so it is possible to pull back PM details. However the only person that can do it is Mawbs, even I as lord and master of the forum cannot do it. We only use it in exceptional cases where we need to prove somebody was trading or being overly threatening. We certainly dont have a fish about in the PM pile and see who says what about us. Ignorance is bliss!! So dont worry if you have been mildly naughty, its the really naughty people we watch.
edge
Can you get mawby to dig out some interesting pm's and keep the identities hidden? Or make up some stories from naughty pm's? For those days when the forum has little of interest going on or when another "is it going down hill" thread appears again.
