which one of our poor guys got the ac130 and only got 2 kills with it i would have been pissed at that......its good we have both cappers and runners in the game me i just claymore a and then go defend b as my connection speed and reactions are not condusive to run and gunning

Haha that was my cousin. Yeah the Ac130 is rubbish on certain maps- you can't aim at certain areas of the map.

Your claymores are legendary lol.

I need some tactics lessons, what are cappers and runners, wheres the spawn points? Since Ive been playing with you guys Ive only had 2 supply crates, thats it.

I can show you the respawn points on a private match if you want. Cappers are people who capture points and runners are those that kill enemy Cappers etc

modded pads are out of order in cod2 but as theres no rules against them theres not much you can do but septic is right a fal used with a modded pad is lethal........i use claymores on purpose to prove you can still kill a marathon/lighweight commando class...set 2 of them right and even if they try the jump over and through the first it sets of the 2nd which catches them mid air and pisses them off no end.

i dont tons of kills but its a lot of fun frustrating the high kill streak guys and ending their runs with what they class as a low trick claymore......

way too many people are now using extra damage painkiller mod as last night showed they had one guy on their team that was absorbing a full clip of aa-12 at point blank range and then having added health in last stand i watched as both me and septic both firing at the guy as he ran through a claymore killed septic and then still was in last stand even after a noob tube direct hit on him

Enjoyed the Highrise game, we had them pinned down and were picking them off at will!

Yeah you did lol. On Highrise it was a massacre.

Not as bad as the day before though; during the whole game there was something in the air, harriers, pavelows and a queue of people waiting to use their chopper gunners and Ac 130s.

Great fun :D

Well thats 1 better than me.... Only managed to get one crate and then got killed before I could collect the contents!

Not to bothered about the Kill Streaks to be honest just like getting in their and killing as many as I can in combat b4 been shot. Think 16 kills was my highest last night.

I need to spectate you and see what you do wrong. In many instances though you were standing in obvious positions.

I think you should try a heartbeat sensor on your primary weapon. That way it'll force you to attack more and be aware of the enemies position.

Its so dead here at work I thought I'd upload some blueprints for my tactics herein dubbed Septic's tactics to get testikills and scrotalities:

WASTELAND on Domination

image

Numbering on this post corresponds with those on the map (I DEFINATELY NEED TO GET LAID):

The key to success in this map is Capturing Point B right from the start and holding on to it. So at the start of the game, two people rush to B, and 2 players rush to C. Essentially, you must control B to win the game most of the time.

1. If you spawn at the Chopper side of the map on Domination you can do what I do and get easily kills right from the start (got a Multi-kill with ONE Noob tube! :D)

All you have to do is quickly rush to the destroyed car infront of you and stand behind the RIGHT driver side door--> look up with your noob tube positioned at A and shoot your noob tube through the middle wire hanging from the pylons.

2. Be weary of this side of the map. Just on the right of this building (labelled school on the map) is where enemies will spawn EVEN if you control point B. Like I've said before, the spawning system is broken so beware of this. I actually put a claymore here all the time so if the enemies do spawn here, they die instantly.

3 and 4. This is really for people going for Nukes. If you control B and another territory, points 3 and 4 are where enemies will spawn. If enemies seem to be in area 4 (Junkyard) then after you've killed all of them there, they will spawn at area 3 and vice versa. A point to note: enemies that spawn in area 4 tend to spawn inside the metal shed so aim there with your chopper gunner. The sound of your gun mincing 5-10 enemies in that spot is priceless :D

Additional notes:

* Enemies who have captured point C almost always camp near the Junkyard (area 4) or inside the trench near C. Some will hide on C and others just on the left of C.

* Enemies who have captured point A usually come round the corner from A to B. These guys are free kills as long as you don't miss. But beware, some people will try and sneak in around the back of A, round the border of the map to B. There are A LOT of kills to be had if you position yourself behind one of the tanks or trees on the top left of the map labelled North Road. The tricky part is not getting overwhelmed by enemies or trying to go back to the houses if you're on a killstreak.

* If you are playing noobs then someone should watch the middle trench where all the paths from A,B and C converge. As cheap as it sounds, noobtubes work really effectively here and you should be able to get lots of double kills etc.

DOMINATION on HIGHRISE

Like most Domination games, its imperative that you capture point B right from the start on this map. If you spawn at area 2 of the map at the start of the match, I feel its easier to capture B. In any case, area 2 is the better place to start.

To completely dominate on this map, you should capture B and C and let the enemy have C. DO NOT capture point C or even wander into that building. The furthest you should go is shoot from the windows outside the North Offices.

1. You should put a claymore or two here on the stairs leading to C because enemies will inevitably try and go through here to capture C or escape the battering they are receiving in A.

2. If your team pushes too far forward this is where the enemies will spawn EVEN if you have point C so this is why people shouldn't push too far forward into A and why someone should always be present at C to force respawn for enemies on A.

3. This is where enemies will spawn

4 and A This is where people should keep their sights set. Enemies will emerge from 4 (left window) of the top office and A (the north office itself). Players should pick off these enemies with ease because they will have little way to maneouvre. The enemies will try and go down the stairs at the back of A so they can emerge out of the office and either go to B, 7 or C.

5. Ideally, enemies shouldn't even be able to get here (right window of north office) if the team is watching points 4 and A correctly. Just for emergency purposes, someone should position themselves on the helipad (7) if one sneaky bugger does manage to escape. Which leads me too....

7. This is a good vantage point for snipers of even noob tubers to inflict some damage at 4 and A. Also, you can take out any miscreants who manage to get to 5 (right window).

6. Make sure you destroy the gas container here before you climb up and position yourself on this spot. This is a good place to be to take out enemies in area 4.

Additional notes:

* As some of you will know, you can climb up the crane on the left of the map and get into the top of the North offices at A but I wouldn't recommend this.

* If you're skilled enough, you can get up to the top of the South office but I don't really see any point of this if your team is positioned looking at A.

Dear God. THAT is incredible, but yeah, you need to get laid. Someone got a blind sister, mate, ex with low self esteem? Or even an effeminate looking male friend who doesn't mind getting plundered?

Ahahha lol I'm bored! There is nothing to do here at work. I might aswell help some homies out on Cod :p

How about some other maps fella, and the best set up with weapons.

What maps do you want info on?

I'll do my weapon set ups but I have found that everyone has their personal preferences.

Long-medium range weapon loadout:

1. Loadout # 1: Assault

Primary: Famas with red dot or silencer

Secondary: Shotgun or Machine Pistol

Perks: Sleight of hand, Stopping Power, (your discretion, but I go for Ninja)

The Famas is EXTREMELY powerful and can kill in one burst. I know the stats say that the M16 is more powerful but they lie! The Famas will most likely kill in one burst. With the silencer it obviously takes more considering the reduced range but even so, a silenced Famas can kill in one or two bursts (With stopping power on!)

As for choice of shotgun: I personally use the AA12 or Spas. The former being good for taking out 2 enemies. The Spas can take out multiple enemies but it is really tempremental at times; sometimes taking two or even three shots to kill someone. Couple this with its low firing rate and you can die a lot.

If you are into quick, fast-paced shooting then I would strongly recommend a Raffica Machine Pistol (with scope). The Raffica is like a mini Famas, a couple of bursts will kill and it has great range. One of the best things about it though is that you can swap INTO the Raffica very quickly unlike switching to shotguns that seem to take leap years. The delay in switching is bl00dy annoying so I'm beginning to love the Raffica.

2. Loadout # 2: Assault:

Primary: ACR with red dot

Secondary: Shotgun or Machine Pistol

Perks: Sleight of Hand, Stopping Power and Ninja

This gun is one of the best all-round weapons and deals a lot of damage, quickly and has excellent range. I would not recommend a silencer on it though because your gun essentially becomes a tampon dispenser- enemies just soak up the bullets.

The secondary is the same as above: shotgun or machine pistol.

Running class loadout:

Again this is based on personal preference but for me it has to be:

Primary: P90 with silencer

Secondary: Magnum handgun (tactical knife if unlocked)

Perks: Marathon, Stoppping Power and Ninja OR Commando

I am loving this loadout at the moment and got about 3 Nukes yesterday using this class. The P90 deals a lot of damage even with the silencer equipped and has a deadly firing rate. The silencer will put many players off who have no idea when there team mates are getting peppered with it.

Also, if enemies are up close, you don't have to aim; just sweep your weapon in their direction and fire!

The problem with the P90 is: accuracy- because of its high rate of fire, there is considerable recoil so you have to be aware of this. Long range kills are made especially difficult because of this and you really have to feather the trigger to control recoil and stay on target. Couple this with the fact that if you're using a silencer, you won't have a scope and so have to rely on the restrictive view of the ironsights.

Another problem is noobs with Painkiller: these guys will soak up P90 bullets (even flipping Light machine gun bullets! Painkiller is ghey!). So if you have commando you're better off lunging at enemies.

I started using Ninja instead of Commando because whilst the no falling damage and knife lunging was great (when it worked) I got detected far too many times by idiots with heartbeat sensors on their primary guns whilst I was commanding the Chopper Gunner.

WoW Septic, you are total COD Nerd.... Some great info by the way, will have to put some of that in to play tonight....As long as my girlfriend dos'nt kick me out she hates me playing on the X-Box!

Whats the best weapon for NoobTubing?

Yeah I am a COD nerd lol. I've been playing it since it came out and have noticed all the B.S so I can confidentally give some tips. My gf HATES COD as well lol.

The best weapon for noob tubing in my opinion is the ACR IF you use ONE MAN ARMY because you switch to the bag MUCH quicker than other weapons.

Actually Kevin, I'll show you the noob tube tactics on Domination that will GUARANTEE you a high killstreak tonight if you're on tonight. The setup you should have is:

Primary Weapon: ACR

Secondary: N/A (Because of One Man Army)

Perk 1: One Man Army

Perk 2: Danger Close

Perk 3: Ninja

I'll show you the noob tubing spots in Domination. You're guaranteed to get loads of kills this way.
