benkei
Predators hunt humans as a 'right of passage' into their teen years, then to become a respected adult hunter they have to hunt and kill aliens, as obviously they are a lot tougher prey than weedy humans. Send a handfull of humans to a predator game hunt and they wouldnt last 5 mins! I havent seen this film yet, I have a feeling I might end up face-palming at the fail though! R Black
I saw this on Sunday, I thought it was pretty good, but I was expecting it to be awful, so I guess that helped it. If I'm going to be picky, I thought the russian guy's chain gun was faulty, as it seemed to miss everything or have the punch of an air rifle. benkei
I thought the russian guy's chain gun was faulty, as it seemed to miss everything or have the punch of an air rifle. I noticed this too... Especially as he was so close to the target - which was relatively stationary! Maybe he just wasn't any good with it? All in all, now I've seen it, not a bad film. I was pleasantly suprised that I wasn't appauled by it.
Ian W
Saw this tonight and I'm sorry to say it is pretty woeful. Not as bad as AvP, however I wish I hadn't paid to see it
monsween
I was expecting a horror show and got a mediocre film so i was happy enough
kill1308
As a huge fan of the first film (who isn't) I'm dubious about seeing it, but seeing as it's got mixed reviews and not everyone thought it was a complete abortion of a film like the AvP's then I might go and see it tonight
Guest jdwals
I saw this Tuesday night and thought it was enjoyable enough. A fairly watchable sci-fi/monster type movie but obviously not a patch on the first one. My biggest gripe with this movie is that it is essentially a remake of the first movie rather than a sequal. They copied so much from the first film - lines, scenes, special effects, sound track it takes away from the enjoyment of this movie as you just cannot think of it without comparing it to the first movie. Go and see it and tell us what you thought of it.
Carl
I watched this and was a little dissapointed. Loved the first one with Arny but this one just seemed a bit slow to me. I thought the lead guy was a bit weak and what was the point of Laurence Fishburn. Just when I thought a strong leader was brought into the film he was killed off almost straight away. Just didnt work for me..
Lbm
Saw it on Tuesday afternoon. Not too bad and I liked the use of relatively unknown/unusual leading actors. (Apart from Fishburne, who was also good) If anyone remembers the disturbed character 'Noah Percy' from The Village, he was good too as 'Royce' in this one. The real predator of course was the fiend who took the additional £6 or £7 from me for the hot dog and coke. Still I'd had a good week, even by Tuesday. So I splashed out etc...*Cue Ed for a knob joke* about now...
