-Welsh-Stealth- Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 hi im just woundering what the offset is for the uk spec brakes? as im thinking about getting some new wheels/alloys. hopefully some nice lightweight racing alloys. anybody got any sugestions on where to look? or what sort of alloys would fit the UK spec brakes? Nic Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) It's not as simple as just the offset, it depends on the width, design, dish and thickness of the spokes, etc. I can recommend the Weds SA-70 wheels, they easily clear the larger brakes, are light in weight (around 8kg each) and good value for money, available in either bronze or black chrome finish. If you find a model you want then the trader should be able to specify what spec you need.
