LOGIE Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Im hoping someone can help I ordered new spark plugs for my N/A and they arrived today, I ordered NGK Iridium BKR5EIX and when they arrived i noticed they are BKR5EIX (6341) and not (5464) what is the difference? Dr_Doom Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Same plug, different gap; (6341) = BKR5EIX (5464) = BKR5EIX-11 The '-11' part means that they are pre-gapped to 1.1mm (The correct gap for an NA supra). I'm not sure what gap the 6341 is but i know that you're not supposed to re-gap iridium spark plugs as the tips can snap. Quoted from the spark plug FAQ - "Iridiums should always come pregapped correctly - altering the gap will cause damage.
