gavin.starr
For those of you that have carried out the polly bush replacements. is there a metal bush that needs removing in the rear upper suspention arms as i have no bushes in my kit that will fit the hole that i removed the origionals from. The 4 bushes i have are around 4mm too large to go in but it looks like there should be something else taken out see pics Cheers
miko_supra
Yeah there is a metal insert that needs pressing out. You need to machine up a piece to the right diameter and put it in a decent 10 tonne + press. Soak it in wd40 in the mean time too as they are in tight. gavin.starr
Nice one fella. been battering them all weekend but to no avail, there in solid had them in at work too but no luck. Might just bite the bullet and buy new arms. Cheers again Gav
pistonbroke
I used to use deep impact sockets to push inserts out. Due to the sizes going up in mm increments, you can always find one that fits.
ruishy1
how does the car drive afterwards with poly bushes ? the bushes on my soarer are mostly wasted, so thinking about upgrading while im at it
pistonbroke
The only man I know who's tried them both, is JP. He thought the car was far better with new OEM stuff fitted.
