Thinking about getting my car decated, theres quite a few threads on here about decated TT's and all the joys you get from doing it, lucky buggers:D

Any one know of the pro's and con's of doing this to a N/A?

cheers:thumbs:

I THINK.....

LOTS more noise ('specially if you've got a big bore zorst!)

and a 'bit' more acceleration.

Not quite as much difference as on a TT (I think)

[ made BIG difference on my TT - mostly mid-range acceleration ]

Sit back a few moments......here come the replies....

I reluctantly made de cat pipes for the N/A, and quite honestly wasn't expecting much if any improvement, BUT, I was wrong. There is a very noticeable improvement, I can't give any figures, never taken power readings before or after, but I was glad I bothered and those that have fitted them seem well pleased. They are a PITA to make properly as they have a flexi section in them and the jig was a bit of a bar steward to do. E-mail me direct if you need to know more. (Or phone..)

No problems mate. Just had a 2 months wait for a set of Blitz 18" Z2 Technospeeds (lurvley, slurp..) and they only came from Japan! :twak:
