Please see the google map link at the bottom of this post for specific details. Meeting time/place: 10-10.30am, The Keelman pub, Newburn (NE15 8ND) We'll be setting off at 10.30 and doing the aforementioned drive. Afterwards, I suggest we get some bait and have a bit natter before heading home... Finishing point: 12.30pm, The Twin Farms pub, Kenton Bankfoot (NE13 8AB) Both pubs have decent car parking, so that shouldn't be a problem In the past, I've always tried to do a 'trial' drive of the route to make sure the roads are ok. Unfortunately, I'm not able to do so this time as I have my stag do this weekend However, Google street map is our friend and all of the route is visible if you drag the little yellow gadgy around. If numbers are poor (say less than 5), I'm inclined to not bother with the drive and just stay at the Keelman. UGP Which, I'm sorry, IMO isn't really worth using up the petrol on 3 Supes and an Aristo. I propose we move this event back to the 8th August then since that has an agreed date but no actual activity - all other details to remain the same. I've revised the name list - bringing over the folk from the other thread that Jim started. Please update as necessary if you can do the new date.
