Cheers Jim.

Is it a project you would take on or not bother?

Personally not bud, I do like them but I wouldn't want to own one. All depends on what you want the second car/project for, assuming you're keeping the supra then is it going to be your daily and the other car's a project/toy, or are you looking to keep your supra as a weekend car and looking for something else for day to day?

If I was in the position to be looking for a project I'd be thinking about something old school cool, like a datsun z or a mk1 celica but that's maybe not to your taste. If I was looking for an alternative daily driver then I'd be pushed for ideas (I don't like thinking about not driving the Supra daily :D) but maybe a jdm vip style big lexus.

Ugly... Too common... and pretty much all of them sound the same and look the same.

Keep the sup and chill, knowing you have a rare'ish saught after car that most chavs cant get hold of :) (until recently) yours looks awesome too dude.

I've got two mates with them both broken alot of the time to unreliable IMHO clutches, bottom end bearings, driveshafts and gearboxes tend to be the reason engine rebuilds every few thousand which is mental when you consider how reliable the supra is good luck with the search

If you have to take the engine out they practically fly out on their own!!!! and if it snows you will be glad you bought it!!!

I never liked them but the one we bought somewhat changed my mind, ive never driven a road car that handles like this and it is very rapid even at low boost, quite changed my opinion of them, even so ours is for sale, single turbo and all, it is a totally different car to a tt, drive one and see what you think.

I don't like the look of the scooby you posted up: I much prefer the 1st generation. I have no idea what they're like mechanically.

The wheels look too low profile on the blue one for a rally-style car, although I'm not known for liking big wheels anyway. :)

Quite honestly the WRX in the first post, does not look that great, engine bay is very dirty and I dont like the stickers either (oh yes and I own a 2002 sti). Its my everyday car, is more reliable than my supra was, more modern, more comfortable running 300bhp, AWD (not quite the same as 4WD, but hey ho)... but this is a supra forum and therefore every-so-slightly biased.

I have had mine for 1 year and love it... Its great fun to drive, its easy, in the snow its brilliant especially when all the supras are tucked away for the winter or parked on the side of road (JamieP excluded - nutter would go out in any weather!).

Ummmm, Dude, imprezas are single turbo by default ;) but yes, that impreza (AFRs) is very impressive!!!

I quite like some of them, too common though and as said stickerd up is not my cuppa but maybe for some people :) my buddy Dan has an 06 WRX and I have driven it a couple of times, corners really well and is quick (he has had some mods done) but still not Supra quick ;) but his looks reaaaaal nice and he really takes care of it.

Couple of pics of his WRX
