Wyntersun
Hi all, Finally got round to flocking my dash. Was looking a bit tired and worn before hand. Im pretty happy with the results. I know some of you will probably hate it and some will like. Maybe could do with doing the gear surround again tho.

Wyntersun
It took me a couple of days as I was doing a bit at a time. but I suppose actual glueing and flocking time, 2 hours. Then 24 hours drying time.

Wyntersun
I bought 1 kit which includes the black glue and 1 x 300ml black flock. And I bought 1 extra pack of 300ml flock just incase it wasn't enough.

Ian W
Looks good mate. I'd have been tempted to do away with all the chrome bling though, doesn't really 'go' for me.
monsween
I like the chrome, however maybe just leave the three cluster ones
Wyntersun
I did indeed use the extra packet of flock as I had to redo the gauges and stereo surround. The key is to you lots and lots of glue using a paint brush!
LOGIE
I really like it, different.

Wyntersun
Cheers guys, its fairly easy to do. The kit comes with a set of instructions on how much flock to put into the puffer bottle etc. Just make sure the panel is fully covered in the glue and just coat it in flock. I didn't blow any of the excess flock off the panels until after the 24 hours drying time. Also one other thing i did do was I washed the panels in soapy hot water and scrubbed them with a brillo pad to remove any dirt or loose rubber coating. I would also suggest wearing a mask as per instructions. I didn't and believe me, the flock gets everywhere and really makes you cough if inhaled.
