SupraHuman
Reason I ask is that my local rubbish Mr T quotes 4 hour labour, 4 HOURS, they built the Euro tunnel in less time IIRC. I'm not paying for it tho as it's an insurance job, but is that normal? I had a new windshield fitted in my artic unit and that took about 1.5 hours. SupraHuman
Yeah, I do not account for the time it takes to dry, only labour time. I could not drive my artic for 8 hours. I think as soon as they heard the word insurance job they just added a few hours.
TLicense
I bet it's a case of Autoglass being paid per job, but Toyota being paid per hour.
Purity14
No doubt they will do what my local peugot dealers do. Take the money for the work and outsource the labour for the fraction of the cost. They even give you a peugot bill at the end. I cant spell peugeot either.
ray007
i called autoglass today for a replacement windscreen, said they have to order it from the manufacturer and will replace it for me next wednesday and that it would take about an hour also if you got windscreen excess do it via insurance, its only costing me £70, I wonder how much Mr T is asking?
