Guest tinker-27
hi guys i have just finished a ls1 powered supra, it was a 3.0 na std import, we have fitted a std ls1 (will have mods in the future). its only going to be about 320bhp at the wheels sdt but can get 400 with cam etc , ive done a few hundred miles in it and it drives real nice very smooth and pulls 5th from 20 mph . i fitted the v8 into the black one a few years ago and see it now has a procharger on it (should be cool) here are some pics the last one is my 7.0l twin turbo rx7 build i am doing (my own car )

kill1308
Awesome, LS engines into Supra's and RX7's are my favourite engine conversions I'd love to have an RX7 with an LS in, would be great fun without it blowing up every weekend like the rotary. Homer
Hi Craig, it's been a long time since we last discussed this conversion, but very pleased to see this finally done in a Supra over here Very much looking forward to hearing more about this car. Is it someone from this club (I somehow doubt it!)? How did you overcome the sump and subframe clearance issue in the end? Also, did you use a T56 box? Any problems getting the shift mounted in the right place?
JamieP
Nice conversion for a na, id never swap a GTE lump for a LS though.
j_jza80
Nice conversion for a na, id never swap a GTE lump for a LS though. That RX7 should be pretty special though.
Lurker
Nice conversion for a na, id never swap a GTE lump for a LS though. It was an NA so not exactly sacrilege If I didn't love my JZ so much I would have had a V8 off Craig long ago His work at Dynotorque fitting V8's to many different cars has built him an solid reputation for quality work and the cars are just so streetable, relatively fuel efficient, sound the nuts and of course fast. (am I doing a decent enough plug for him? ) I have some slightly more up to date pics of the RX here. Not sure if people are asking for a project thread on the Supra or the RX? This is a Supra site after all but I don't think there is much more to say about this one (Supra) at present. If anyone is interested in the RX I can do one for him when I get a sec. A couple of earlier Supra pics: Up to date RX:

Chris Wilson
If someone wants to do an RX-7 conversion I have a totally and utterly rust free, mint and unmessed with car here with a blown engine for sale. Would like to see underside photos of the MKIV showing engine mounts, subframe / sump and gearbox mounts please Got a serious customer wanting to have such a conversion done. EdMorris
Indeed, some decent pics of all the mounts and what 'box you used too please (in the supra conversion). Nice job by the way.
