marcAB10 Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 So, took a trip down to crail yesterday for the 'street & strip' show, it was an good day, bit on the windy side and it did chuck it down once or twice but there was still plenty of action on the quarter mile, Inc a few R35 GTRs running (one got a sub 13 sec quarter with a bad start and damp surface). Anyway, I barely washed the car before the journey as it was a very very last minute decision to go down. I did park on the grassy bit but a little walk to the strip.. After popping back to the car I got approached by the organisers saying I had won 'best jap car of the show' and I would be getting a trophy! I was pretty darn chuffed tbh. Nice to know my efforts are appreciated.
