fuldhat
Hi... So my clutch started slipping this weekend, and it`s an OEM. Was thinking of getting an OEM again, but wanted to get something that could take a little more beating. Car is TT-6 @ BPU. Dont want any problems like many have with the RPS clutch`s. So that brand is out. Have read alot are using Southbend, and the prices seems quite good. Ect a stage 2 clutch kit for 585$ is quite far. But just wanted to get some feedback on southbend or any other brand that you think should do the job good, and dont give any trouble. What is a fair amout to pay to getting it changed also? Thx. Brazil
I am fixing to buy one of them too, have done loads of research and still confident that the SB is the best choice..! Have a look at my thread on supraforums for some more info... http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=593813
Rinus
I'm really surprised nobody tries to fit an oem pressure-plate with an 6-puk disk... I think this will hold bpu levels very nice, and feels like stock and will be only the price for a disk... Please correct me if I'm wrong... Tannhauser
I had a Southbend stage 2. I had no problems with it, it held the power, and I can't tell much difference from stock.
fuldhat
Okay well that sounds good. What about the normale price for a clutch chance?.. just some ruff prices would be nice. Thx
