Ok guys here's the story.

Ive got an 8900 curve and a few month back i plugged it in, installed the desktop manager etc etc. Then it went ahead and told me the new O.S 5.0 was available, so i put it on and its been great.

Had a problem with blackberry app world disappearing so i plugged it into the laptop today to reinstall it, BB desktop manager automaticly took control and rolled back my OS to 4.6!!! :banghead: And now i try and re download it and says i no longer can :wtf:

Any idea's guys?

I cant deal with these new fangled phones, i just want a simple cheap phone that i can phone people on and thats it. My mate gets fancy phones all the time and give him loads of bother.

His latest effort has a noise reduction thingamyjig which seems to reduce all sound even the person on the other end. I would rather have two cups and a bit of string.

I have the same blackberry but I've never had that problem... I'm still running 4.6. How do you upgrade to 5? Through the desktop manager?

Go to Options, Advanced Options then wireless update and check, vodafone have released it but some others haven't, orange etc or just plug it into the desktop manager and it will check automatically.
