Guest french_fry007
Hey guys, I don't drive my Supra MKIV often, sometimes once every two weeks, usually when I start it the battery is flat. So yesterday the battery was indeed flat, i plugged it to my dad's car. The alarm went on (did the same thing last time) but couldn't stop it by pressing the car keys. I changed the battery of the keys, same shit happens. BTW the Supra is 100% stock, so is the alarm. I could not get an answer by the other threads, do you guys have any ideas what could cause that ? Thanks! Gabriel
michael
Charge the battery up fully, they get a bit touchy when they go flat. Is it a standard Euro / UK car?
Guest french_fry007
OK Michael, I'll do that. It's a standard UK car
SteveC
If it's a UK car then you'll have a Scorpion 5000 alarm fitted. Unfortunately it's probably in need of a factory reprogram, but they (Scorpion) no longer have the necessary equipment due to the alarm system being so old. There's some more info here.
