I watched 51st State three times in one day once, one time by myself then twice with 2 different friends as they each wanted to see it and I knew it word for word but that was a while ago.

I've seen Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch a load of times too and can pretty much quote those :)

Star Wars (A New Hope) - Well over 60 times now :) At least 40 times for Empire, and Return - And at least 30 times each for Back to the future parts 1 and 2 (Only about 15 for part 3)

i honestly dont think that i have ever watched a film more than once. i find it pointless watching again hence me not owning any dvds

I believe films to be a valid art form, therefore a good film can be enjoyed over and over just like a painting or sculpture, and there is more to be had each time. Hidden layers, sub text, meanings etc all come out with repeated viewings.

Until you start making stuff up, like I did with The Hitcher where I became convinced that Rutger Hauers character is all in the kid's mind.

I know Predator has been mentioned a number of times, but is just an awesome piece of film making, every scene is a gem.
