MrRalphMan
All, Failing any real horror stories looks like I'm getting a Desire from Orange. Has anyone got any real issues with Orange? Paul.
RedM
No service issues. I have a poor signal at home but then I do live in a low signal area. Be warned though. Orange have shoved a right load of crap onto the phone and you cannot remove it without rooting. Oh, and they are slow to prepare updates. ScottC
I've been with Orange for about 8 years now. The only thing that I find that lets them down is there customer service. I had a nightmare sorting my broadband out. Saying that the deals they offer to loyal customers can't really be beat. 1200 mins 500 texts Unlimited landline calls Unlimited mobile internet which is limited 8 Meg home broadband Mobile insurance £
MrRalphMan
Cheers Guys, martin have you rooted your device yet? I like tinkering with my phones, so wouldn't be an issue.. What's a phone without a custom Rom on it? I was thinking of going through Mobiles.co.uk, who provide unlocked phones so that shouldn't be an issue. Only think I will not get is the Orange Black version. Already played with Eclair on my HTC Touch HD and like the standard Android, but the HTC Sense on top looks even better. Once I've got one I'll have to start learning to develop for it.. aGPSSpeedo anyone? Scott, how long do you need to be with them for them to offer that deal, looks good.
