Chris Wilson
I think 10K is very optimistic. Don't forget bolting 600 HP worth of boost on a tired old engine is NOT a good idea, you need to start with an engine in as new condition with the right supporting mods. If you have to pay someone to do the whole thing (properly) you will find the total bill closer to 20K than 10K. Don't forget that a 3 litre engine giving a genuine 600 BHP plus is a highly stressed piece of kit with attendant maintenance and rebuild costs to consider. I see turbo car owners every week that have had half hearted jobs done that really need starting again, but who have run out of money and are generally fed up to the back teeth. If you can't afford to have it done right and still have a hefty cash reserve for maintenance and any potential problems down the road, don't even think of starting the project, it'll end in tears. Then you have gearbox/clutch or Trans /converter to think of, diff, shafts etc and cooling its a very expensive slippery slope.
