marcAB10
Says it was taken in Aberdeen but can't say I've ever seen the car before. And I never park like this, I just park a little further away but in a space. Seems to work fine for me.
Josh
I've had it done to me when I was in the car but only once. I was at the safari park with my girlfriend and a mercedes pulled up with 2 adults in the front, 3 kids in the back. The kid opened the door properly which was nowhere near my car and then his idiot dad came round and slammed the door into my car to let the kid out. I jumped out and said "What was that for?! the door was open enough all ready." He just gave me a look and walked off. I proceeded to stub a cigarette out on his door and bash his wing mirror pretty hard on the way back. Some people are just too inconsiderate. Scum. mathew
If I see you parked in a blue badge space, (without a blue badge) I'll rip your wing mirrors off myself. Mike A mod making threats (awaits the usual reply of 'it aint a threat its a promise...') whatever next?! Mat
mathew
If you were meant to park there they'd paint a c*ck on the floor not a wheelchair. why?
AndrewOW
Scum. Yeah, scum! I'm quite surprised you didn't break into his car, and turn his interior light on, so in a few weeks he'd have a pretty flat battery!* That'll teach him. *Courtesy of Bottom, circa 1995. Ian C
A mod making threats (awaits the usual reply of 'it aint a threat its a promise...') whatever next?! Mat Hold on there, are you complaining about antisocial behaviour in a car park? Are you? Really? parent and kid space, double spaces, blue badge holder spaces........if it means more room for me then il park there. Maybe you should complain about this antisocial behaviour in a carpark as well OH NO WAIT ITS YOU
JS2004
Lately I see more cars without blue badges in the disabled slots than those with the badges. Could be that theres a slight overkill with those bays - the local supermarkets round here have loads of them, and ive never seen them more than 50% full. Ive got quite a lot of parking dings now from inconsiderate people driving cars that probably arent even road legal! we need wide car bays similar to the parent and child ones

mathew
. Could be that theres a slight overkill with those bays - thats an excellent point right there. also (and this isnt a dig to anyone who is disabled so save your hating for another thread) how 'disabled' must you be to qualify for a blue badge? JS2004
Well all I know is the local large tescos in the city center.. when you enter it you drive by literally 40 + disabled slots which are usually empty, yet the rest of the car park is a tad full! I spent a good ten minutes trying to find a spot, ended up in a bay hardly big enough for a corsa and was parked with bumper maybe 2cm from the wall, yet rear end was still way out over the line lol. I can see the temptation and understand why people would use them, especially if your only stopping for 5 min.
mathew
I can see the temptation and understand why people would use them, especially if your only stopping for 5 min. i can also see the temptation, even more so when direct.gov.uk state the following... 'If a non-disabled motorist has parked in a bay reserved for disabled people in a private car park, for example a supermarket, an employee of the store can ask the driver to move their car from the reserved space, but they cannot legally insist on it.' i no longer need my blue badge now.... JS2004
Tricky though as its stepping on antisocial behaviour. Personally I wouldnt park in them and I dont condone it. I can however see the other side as there is a large amount of them bays, most of which are vacant. Each to their own (As long as theyre not mashing doors into my car!) matt k
I can understand being precious about your car but it really bothers me when someone has parked like a retard and used more space than they should.
add heywood
Parent a baby places are always rammed but yet the disabled are usually half full.
Abz
I have a trick which me and the missus use and it is to find the end of line of spaces. The missus gets out and I tuck my car within millimetres of the end of the line, this then creates more space of the driver next to me to get out, though does not promise they won't hit as I still have quite a few dings. Do you know if it is possible to get them all taken out clean? When you look closely down the side you can notice them.
tbourner
I never knew that........quite surprised..... Only in private car parks though, pull it on a council space and you'll get a ticket. I don't park in disabled spaces, mainly because there are gits that go around letting tyres down if they see non disabled people in those spaces!! David Reid
I personally dont see the problem with it. Whenever I visited a generic super market in my R33 GTR I would double park away from everyone else. Yes I took up an extra space, but it wouldn't have been used anyway and my car stayed scratch and dent free. It's just a sensible way of avoiding carpark dings from the general public. If I cared about the paint on the supra I would do the same, but it's a track car and already got a good share of small dents and scrapes. Far better to double park than those who take all the disbled and "family bay" spaces even when they dont have the kids with them. They are a complete bunch of tossers on the Barry Boy forum, basically if you dont drive a standard car your open to abuse from there narrow minded members. jimmy_supra
I always park mine in two spaces but always out of the way. Have a old audi for every day so don't need to park the supra in car parks very often. I have experienced doors being bashed into my cars over the years far to many times. People just don't seem to care. I have spent to much money on the supra to leave it in a vulnerable parking space for someone to ding the door or scratch the new paint. keron
i dont blame him tbh! too many mother f@~#`-s around! i had a brand new porsche (courtesy car), went tescos for 10 mins, came out and some mf had scratched it! on the drivers door right near the handle (maybe so i would see it! who knows!) guess what..cameras were apparently not working.. why do people feel the need to do this? In the same way, it wouldn't be illegal if I nipped round and popped my todger into your Mrs. It wouldn't be illegal, so I guess I'll be round this afternoon. Put the kettle on dear boy, get out some mint sauce and let's boogie till we puke. You have to wait outside btw
Guigsy
i dont get this at all... i always park in the closest space to the door (appart from disabled or parents with child bays) in a carpark because im a lazy fecker. Never had a door ding in any of my cars. The people in northampton must be more considerate.
