When i turn the traction control off the little 'TRC OFF' on the right hand cluster lights up which i know is normal. But The warning light (!) in the middle of the rev gauage also comes on and stay's on. Is that (!) ment to be on when the traction control is turned off or does that mean something is wrong.

Any advise would be great.

Thanks Tony

Are there 2 error lights when this is happening? If so I would guess one of the sensors has malfunctioned in one way or another. I had a short on my passenger side for a while and it kept throwing up warning lights. 2 of them were on though, ABS warning light and the ! light. I could still enable disable the TC also.

Right. I Think i am being really stupid here, but can some one put a picture up of where the 'Check Engine' light is.

I know it sound really stupid of me to ask this but when i did a check on the fault codes the only thing that flash when you turn the ignition to the 2nd click is the O/D light. Nothing else is flashing.

Sorry to ask such a silly question but any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks Tony
