jackso11
Is it just mine, or are the new boot struts from the group buy with ray really violent when opening the boot? I can't help but think they are going to damage my boot when it flicks up. I am not trying to have a dig at Ray now he has gone, just wondering it I should keep using them! tooley
or swap them for my nornal ones as ive got a veilside spoiler thats too heavy for the normal ones
jackso11
That could be an answer! although pulling it down would probably twist the boot. My missus can't close the boot on her own now.

Animal
Is there not a little grub screw that releases some of the air? The struts I got for the bonnet needed some air letting out to reduce the pressure so I could clost the bonnet without it feeling like it was going to snap in two. jackso11
I sent the old ones off to have the brackets put on these ones. I don't think there is a grub screw anywhere, pretty sure they are sealed.

jackso11
Yesterday? I thought he had gone from the forum. How do you know he was on here?
Dnk
Click on reflections trader name in traders section then click on his name by his avatar, then click on view profile and it comes up when he was last online which was 21:31. He only stayed long enough to leave me more negative feedback though which considering his position at the moment is very sad
jackso11
oh dear. He seems ok to me, I only dealt with him once and the struts are very good quality (even though they are very powerful and took 6 months to get to me).

Yes its definetly "oh dear" very sad he has gone the way he has but as far as im concerned 6 months to get a part is a joke and for it then not be the correct fitment is unacceptable.
