Kopite
With the supra being continously fiddled with and also due to the winter weather of last year (first time i got stuck in the snow in the supra), i'm going to get a decent run about in the next few months. I want it to be 4wd, pretty quick and comfortable to be in. Budget is £4-5k. I think I'm leaning towards a 2001 VW Golf V6 4Motion (01 for tax). Any other suggestions? Supra Gaz
That's funny, I am in a similar situation , though with my first kid on the way. I was looking at Golfs myself. I also quite liked lexus is200's but they are rwd. A nice Subaru impreza would be good, or an Audi A4/S4.

Kopite
I was looking at A4s as well, would love an impreza (evo more) but don't think I could justify the upkeep costs and i'd be worried about it breaking Just can't think of anything 4wd besides the Golf / Audis that would be within budget as well as being "decent"
Kopite
Mk1 S3 with moon miles? Good shout too, thing that lent me towards the VW was a few lower miles (around 70-80k)

Kopite
Any early R32's going for that? Not quite First thing i looked for Could stretch it out to that but can't justify it to be honest as it would mainly be a winter car as I do use the Supe as much as possible

Kopite
Pajero Evolution? Subary Legacy? Both good shouts, think i'd still prefer the Golf over both. The Pajero is awesome but the Evo seems a bit rare (?)

GlennK
Yeah. The Frontera was the Isuzu Trooper rebadged by GM. Nice kit. But had electrical problems (relays not working etc...) How about a nice little GT4? I'm seriously tempted myself. Great runaround.. and has two useable seats in back!

I'm quite tempted as a run around for a few months whilst i decide on a newer BMW. Whats the 0-60 on those? Thats the one with 4k servicing intervals?
