Guest joz8968
lol I had a technical query and wanted to reply to someone's thread, but the forum wouldn't let me. So thought I might have to make a first post in the "New Members" area first, so as to be able to invoke my "privileges". But no, you have to pay at least £10 for technical forums useage. So my one word "Hi" was just posted out of frustration/quickness, for an ulterior motive...
Attero
It's a membership pack. It helps keeps the club alive and promotes club activities and discounts. It's worth the money for the technical/mechanical queries of all sorts for your Supra. Welcome to the club.
SupraStar 3000
Another yocal type. Hi. IF you own a Supra pay the £10 and get involved. Its a great club and 5% of club members a nice people.
Guest joz8968
Yeah, sorry. I wasn't "dissing" the £10 fee. Just at the time I was looking for a very quick post. However, I PM'd the guy in question anyhoo (as that facility still worked!). Edited June 29, 2010 by joz8968 (see edit history)
Guest joz8968
Whilst I'm here, I'm sure at least one of you has the below gauge:- http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/jms2/images/4-2-09/hks_boost_gauge.JPG I have no instructions, but have sussed that the top "SELECT" button toggles between real time vac/boost and Peak Hold modes. But how do you set the "target boost level warning" feature up? When I press/hold in the bottom "WAR/RST" button it currently moves to about 0.6bar. How do I get it to store, say, 1.1bar? Do I have to press the "WAR/RST" button in whilst hooning (and therefore momentarily hold onto the steering wheel with one hand!) to set it? TonytotheB
Lol! I doubt you'll get an answer but someone might be kind enough. Hi and welcome. If you want serious advice/help, I'd recommend paying.
Guest joz8968
But I am asking for serious advice! Surely members aren't going to be churlish enough so as to NOT to try to answer my question... just because I haven't yet paid?! Tut tut. Attero
I used to think it was 25... but I can't remember anymore. May be 30 or something.
monsween
A tenner for membership is pittance for the wealth of information that's on this site.
Animal
It's also a pittance when you realise how much it costs to keep the mods' yacht supplied with gin & whores (and shoesies)
