Havard
Been on the phone all morning, trying to get a quote for my Audi A4. Most companies will not offer a quote because the car is leased, it's also registered to my company and will therefore not offer me a quote on a private policy to cover it. You have to be the registered owner and keeper it seems. ATM Direct line are coming up at £750.00 and it looks like I'll have to go with this. I don't understand why it's such a big issue, I am personally insuring a car that I have no financial interest in and therefore seen to be thought of as someone who'll not look after it...... If anything I am the one taking the gamble as I will lose my personal no claims on a vehicle that I use for work should I have an accident. Does anyone else have this problem. We are a small business with two vehicles and it makes sense to insure them on private policies and the business itself has never insured a car and therefore has no no claims bonus. I just want to build up some no claims for myself also. Frustrated..!! H.
Geo
Here is a daft question, aint the car insured through work. They should take care of all the Insurance needs as its a leased car through them.
