Dry build of my new front brakes

No dust seals, they are race calipers. Off a Porsche 962 Le Mans Group C car, just to add a bit of class :) The rear calipers are off an Aston Martin DB9 or something. Just what we had lying around doing nowt, with small pistons and radial mount.

356 mm x 32 mm thick, CP3581 AP discs

I don't thick the arrows will last long.... :)

Thought so, regular rebuilds then?

What are you doing with the rears to keep the balance, bias adjuster?

Initially using an AP balance valve, may remove servo and convert to dual mater cylinder depending on pedal effort needed when testing. If the brakes are put away hot the lack of seals doesn't really affect things much, but it's a track car anyway, and will get little use on the road, except driving to tracks, and with luck, back again. It's now piped up with proper P clips on the hoses et cetera, and bled. Back brakes next week, as soon as stuff gets back from the platers.

Fitted some 01 compound Performance Friction carbon metallic pads in endurance thickness and piped the calipers yesterday afternoon, so the fronts are now finished.Pics Here

No slicks, Michelin Pilot Sport Cups.

Monkey. Dunno without looking it up. When i get around to doing the geo, (a lot of parts to make first), I'll have the weights. Can't decide whether to gut it or not. If I do it will have a weld in cage in it. If i don't it will be road comfortable, but floppy....
