Dodge
please check this: http://www.japperformanceuk.co.uk/jpp/details.php?id=654 you can see pics of engine bay, it has blitz intercooler with hard pipe kit. im trying to buy a supra, if i can get a loan, if i bought a car like this with this type of hard pipe kit, how do you fit a dump valve? are there good bov's with kits that fit it somewhere else other than the pipe right in front of the throttle body? thanks for any help you can give! Nic
That car still has the stock BOV fitted (the small black round thing amongst the red vacuum hoses). You could either buy a Supra specific BOV kit such as the HKS SSQV that replaces the stock BOV, or you could weld a BOV flange onto the hard pipe and mount a universal BOV there. Dodge
cheers, im aware of the recirculating bov stock... but thought the hks ssqv was silent? id like a bit of noise along with the obvious benefits of the valve
Nic
cheers, im aware of the recirculating bov stock... but thought the hks ssqv was silent? The HKS SSQV is fairly loud and is probably the most commonly used BOV as they are very reliable. Blitz and GReddy also do kits specifically for the Supra. id like a bit of noise along with the obvious benefits of the valve What benefits? The only difference will be the sound. It's debatable whether a BOV makes any difference at all, some say they do others disagree. any chance you could help me out with where to buy? See traders section on here. i really appreciate your help. You're welcome.
