Chris Wilson
I have just subscribed to Zen Internet, not the cheapest but came highly recommended and works fine. We only just got ADSL out here in the sticks after 4 years on Home Highway. Zen was the ISP of choice on 4 different forums I asked on... outatime
Same here, I got Zen based on a lot of research. Like Chris says, its not cheap but i'm a great believer that you get what you pay for.

toyotasuprauk
I'm with Pipex and they have been really good, worth a look.
RedM
We've just got a new computer and are going for the fat pipe service. We have chosen Zen as well. I've emailed them a fair few questions about the service etc and, even though I stressed I may not sign up with them, they were very helpful and replied within hours. Worth a lot in my opinion. The Road Warrior
I signed up with force9 last week, 2mb, 30:1 contention at £14.99, goto http://www.force9.co.uk, or check http://www.adslguide.org.uk/, does a good comparison on speed, reliability & customer service for about 30 different providers. How come force9 so cheap? 14.99 for 2mb connection and unlimited download thats about £10-£15 cheaper than anyone else
The Road Warrior
Sorry the 30:1 contention at 2mb has a 1gig download limit. It's £1 per gig u want on top. Or you can get 2mb at 50:1 contention with unlimited download. Or pay £21.99 for 2mb 30:1 unlimited download. Don't download much myself so went with the 1gig limit. It's lightning fast & customer service is spot on.

far
I went for NTL broadband last week, not too bad at £30 per month to include telephone line, base pack with 50 TV channels and 1 meg BB - I upgraded to 2 meg pipe uncapped and it costs me £37 per month all in.So disconnected my BT line/BT openworld service saves me approx £15 per month which when taken off the NTL offering makes their package look even more attractive. They did screw up the first bill though, said they would put me on the family package free for the first month but then charged me for it, a quick call seemed to sort it out though

The Road Warrior
Sorry if this sounds dum but what is ment by 30:1 and 50:1 Check http://www.f9.net.uk/support/features/contention_guide.shtml, basically the bandwidth provided is shared with other users, ie. 30:1 = sharing with 29 other users, 50:1 with 49 other users. So 50:1 is slower than 30:1.
