Gaz6002
Meh! Even if the latest NFS game is years ahead of previous iterations, I'd expect GT5 to blow anything they can make clean out of the water. If it doesn't, I'm going on a killing spree.

Aweegin
Hot Pursuit looks awesome (even if it always invokes a mental image of Roscoe P. Coltrane..sayin "Hot Perrrsoot!") Same guys that did Burnout Paradise..so high hopes 42yoDIv83W4
Ian C
OK, so, I've always banged on here about how NFS4 - Hot Pursuit was the pinnacle of the series, and since then they have just had features removed and gone towards shiny gfx and circuit racing and general ruination to pander to the console. All the recent NFS games were Fast and Furious cash ins or GRID/GT/Forza wannabe's. This, however, has caught my eye. Please please please don't cock it up, EA. Please don't. Please. Let's have decent multiplayer options and AI traffic and lovely coastal and mountain roads. I'm not holding out much hope for any user generated content, like cars and stuff, as those days appear to be over. I'm also, sadly, not expecting LAN play, there will probably be some ghastly "sign in to Windows Live and EA Online and Steam and everything else and then you can talk to the computer on the desk next to you as long as all these services are actually working" affair. But I am expecting fun multiplayer cops n runners, like we used to have 10 years ago. Pweeeese. You can stick your hundredth iteration of circuit racing toss for the xbox up your backside, I want this so bad it hurts Oh and a damage model plzkthxbye. stinboy
I quite enjoyed NFS Most Wanted on the PS2, but they seemed to go backwards with Undercover - that was a terrible game

Havard
The last NFS game I had was most wanted and I loved it but it was sometimes a bit unrealistic. Loved the cop chases though..!! I'll have a go at this one and see if it's any good..!! H.

JamesC
I loved the first few NFS games but not so much the later ones. The GT5 prologue and demo that i have played so far have been terrible IMO. I hope this nfs lives up to the original name!
Guest jdwals
Loved Need for Speed: Most Wanted - my all time favourite game. Just like watching an episode of World's Wildest Police Videos except you were in it! It was the reason I got my Xbox so imagine my disgust when the bloody game kept freezing on it - seems a problem with the game. Ended up getting a loan of a friend's PS2 to play the game till I finished it. Undercover was a stinking pile of monkey poo in comparison - nothing worked well in that game - not the car dynamics, not the chases, not the graphics, nothing. Have been messing around with Midnight Club Los Angeles recently but again not a patch on Most Wanted. For once Novemeber can't come quick enough and I hope they don't drop the ball with Hot Pursuit.
