mathew
reports say he veered into oncoming traffic. in my opinion that suggests he was driving dangerously as a guy with his experience doesnt just veer off the road. if that is the case then i find it extremely hard to have any sort of sympathy for people guilty of such things especially when two other, innocent, people's live were also at stake. if the conclusive evidence of the accident investigation proves me wrong then il admit im wrong but in the mean time will retain my original opinion of having zero sympathy. mathew
Pack it in Mathew or I'll send you on a nice little holiday. I mean it. this is what i dont get with this club. i expressed my opinion on which wasnt directed at anyone or involved anyone on here and as a result get insulted by michael (ok there are worse insults than being called a knob but its an insult none the less) yet i am the one being told off and to pack it in. michael is usually the one baiting people and its all a giggle for everyone else but as soon as someone tries to take his crown and he resorts to insults then its all serious bussiness. GreaseMonkey
What ever the outcome, as sadly unfortunate and unchangeable as it is, it is a great loss to those who knew him, Toyota and the development of present/future vehicles. Nick
Sad news. It could have been a problem with the car, but given his age I wonder if it was a stroke or a heart attack. Certainly I can't see a guy like that making a mistake on a public road, just doesn't make sense. Mate of mine is a Honda nut and tell me their Factory Development Driver Motoharu Kurosawa is 70 this year and still drives the 'ring for them... Because someone's just died and you were being insensitive, if you've never heard of him or you felt the information supplied in the OP wasn't enough to inform you of his history (which strongly relates to this club BTW) then you should have just kept quiet. Michael's reply was sarcasm at your expense, which you should have got and again; left it alone, but you didn't, you kept making rude and unnecessary jokes. Humour has it's place, and on this forum it's everywhere! But a RIP thread is NOT the place for it.

It's not about post count. It's about being called Mathew. Now perhaps you wouldn't mind posting anymore stuff in this thread. Thankyou. michael
Mathew, did you notice that at the same time as you were asked to behave I stopped posting on the subject? Coincidence? I'm guessing the reason I didn't get a direct message telling me to behave is because you were acting like a knob so in pointing this out to you I did nothing wrong. Much the same as me saying the sky is blue today or that it's Friday, facts are facts. I'm sorry that you felt the need to overlook the history of the gentleman I was posting about and understand why it might be something of interest to the members here but by then going on to try and emulate your high-posting hero and failing you came across as something of a knob. There I said it again, sorry but this and racism are the only two things that spring to mind when I think of you, I thought you'd prefer it if I concentrated on the lesser of the two evils when highlighting your badly timed input. I'm sorry you are so upset by me calling you a knob and more upset by the fact that I haven't been banned for it or given a smacked botty. I do have rather a lot of expired infraction points though if that makes you feel any better. Have a lovely Friday.

Scott
I haven't heard of the guy before but reading his resume made me look over at my Supra briefly (I'm in the garden). As has already been said very tragic circumstances but if he had a choice, in my opinion, this would be his. I have a feeling that something may have happened with his health given what happened, either that or, as has been suggested, a mechanical failure. RIP
Harris25
seen this today in the hair dressers. In the magazine it said he had been involved in the mr2 and supra too. RIP.
