MKIV
Hey everyone my name's Amin, I'm 18 and just bought a 1994 twin turbo. I'm the second owner and it has 61,000kms which I think is great! It IS automatic however, and I'm currently looking to have it converted for this summer. After buying the car I doubt I can afford the Getrag 6-speed, does anyone know anything about using a W58 5-speed with the 2JZ-GTE? A buddy of mine told me I could possibly even go with an R154? All advice is greatly appreciated!
tbourner
Hi! I'm no expert but I'd advise sticking with the Getrag, it's an awesome piece of kit capable of handling any power you throw at it (which you will eventually! ).

Stephen G
welcome to the club. go with the r154 much stronger box than the w58. make sure it has the right bellhousing. do some research plenty wrote about the two boxs
