I have the same problem. Was told its ither boost cut or bad pluggs. Iv cheked the plugs and tapped the "pin" on 2 of them down to 0,8mm (i think it was) but have not had the chance to floor it yet. I was told the spark kan be blown out if thers to bigg of a gap.

Mines a automatic bpu, 1,2 bar boost + chipp

Tryed floring it on the motorway, the problem is stil there att 4900-5000rpm in 3 gear. But if i accelerate slowly in 3 gear, the problem dosn´t apear. I can rev it to the redline.

I se what hapends when i change al 6 Iridium plugs:rolleyes:

Does anny one know if this is damaging the engine...? its quite a jerk... (sorry for my bad speling - S.)

Does it only occur if it's happening while at full boost for a few seconds or is it occuring whiule boost is building?

What plugs do you have? Which FCD model?

BTW, please start a new thread for the same reasons as above, the issue Rob and Mikley have is different as they are a lot more than just BPU.

It only hapends at full bost in 3rd gear (auto) at around 5000rpm for a split sec. Not while boost is charging!

I nowtist some thing this morning as i drove to wourk. I´v notist that it´s ben gurgeling a lot out the exaust = to much fuel or to much unburnt fuel. But after a ful blast inkl the famus powerlos, the car sounded normal and drove a bit smother...i think... After anoter blast the unusual gurgeling was bak agen. Is it posible for the ECU to lose its tuned setings?... thus altering fuel setings and ignition timing:search:

Question: Is the stock ECU a self lerning one or could posibly my chip be one? Mine is caled Superchip.

Sorry but dont know how to start a new thread, im a newbe remember:D

Sounds like boost cut mate. Is this happening at just above 1 bar?

I don´t think its boost cut because, after the split second of power loss, the boost is back up on 1.2 bar and rockets away endlessly with full power.

BUT....this just struck my mind. Could my boost gauge be of? = showing me 1.2bar but in reality it could be more?
