Jellybean
Was thinking of painting the under Bonnet vent covers(prevents rain on the Engine) either Enamble Chrome /Silver or matt Black( I think is best) What do you think, reckon they would look good painted or would they paint take to them? It was windy that day so put the Bonnet holdie upie thing up even though she has bonnet dampers http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs332.snc3/29205_1119312480590_1760389825_226895_7760780_n.jpg

nevins
Primers used so that the paint will adhere in a flat fashion. If you spray onto fg then your finish will vary.

Suprab1
Got you! I did the wiper arms the weekend without a primer and they look really nice thanks I done my wiper arms about 1 year ago & they still look good. The thing about that is they are already painted so no need for primer just a little sanding. You only need primer if you are starting from scratch.
